Attendees will get exposure to the AutoDesk circuits editor now wrapped into the TinkerCAD platform and see how powerful this emulator can be in the classroom. Once circuits are prototyped in the simulator, attendees will build the physical circuits on small breadboards and program an ATTINY microcontroller using the Arduino environment and see their circuit come to life!
While no prior experience is required, some exposure to using a breadboard for circuit prototyping would be beneficial. Concepts covered are part of an 8th grade curriculum. A laptop with Google Apps account required for logging in to the TinkerCAD interface, unless attendee already has TinkerCAD account set up.
