Dorothy Lee currently serves as the Director of the CREATE Studio and a science teacher at Windward School. In the last 3 years at Windward, Dorothy has worked to integrate design and maker culture into the school through project collaborations with faculty members, school events such as a mini maker faire, and running accessible open studio hours. In both teaching science and facilitating making, Dorothy most values the opportunity to empower each student - to help them develop confidence in their intellectual and physical abilities. Before coming to Los Angeles, Dorothy taught physics and math for 4 years in New York City, where she also received her B.A. in Physics from NYU and M.A in Science Education from Columbia Teachers College.
